SELF DESTRUCT

Can you see the signs?
Blurred lines — no more.
Don’t believe the lies,
Sick like me.

I want my soul to shine,
But you look away…
Forced to play a role
On the stage.

Note: These lyrics are based on what can be seen in the teaser and may not be final. Official lyrics could differ when the song is released.

‘MTV Unplugged’ Episodes Ranked

Amy Lee’s haunting vocals brought a transformative depth to Korn’s MTV Unplugged performance, which Loudwire ranked as the 8th best episode in the series’ history. Recorded in December 2006, this acoustic set featured a standout rendition of “Freak on a Leash” where Lee’s ethereal voice intertwined seamlessly with Jonathan Davis’s, offering a fresh, emotionally charged take on the nu-metal classic. This collaboration not only showcased Lee’s versatility but also highlighted the innovative potential of acoustic reinterpretations in heavy music.

The performance was part of a broader effort to reinterpret Korn’s music in an acoustic setting, featuring contributions from other notable artists like The Cure. The album debuted at number 9 on the U.S. Billboard 200, reflecting its commercial success and the positive reception from fans and critics alike.
